Safe Learners™ Refund Policy

Safe Learners™ is the trademark of AM & BN Group Pty Ltd trading as Safe Learners Driver Education.

We aim for all bookings made through the Safe Learners platform to proceed smoothly, but we understand that unexpected issues may arise. If a booking does not meet your expectations and you wish to request a refund, please contact our Support Team. We strive to offer fair refunds for learners. When Can You Request a Refund?

You may qualify for a refund in situations such as:

  • No driving instructors are available in your area.
  • No instructors are available for bookings within the next 4 weeks.
  • A duplicate payment has been made.
  • You wish to exchange your booking credits, such as:
    • Converting a test package credit into lesson hours.
    • Swapping driving lesson credits for a driving test package.
  • You have completed over 10 hours of lessons and no longer need your remaining credits.
  • Your instructor did not arrive for the scheduled lesson.
  • Your instructor cancelled your booking.

When Are Refunds Not Available?

You won’t be eligible for a refund in the following cases, among others:

  • Your credit balance is zero or the credits have expired.
  • Change of mind, such as:
    • Finding a cheaper service.
    • Completing your logbook hours and no longer needing lessons.
    • Deciding not to use the service anymore.
    • Moving to a new location since the original purchase.
  • Your preferred instructor is unavailable, but other instructors are.
  • Dissatisfaction with the instructor’s quality (though you can rate them via your learner account or switch instructors online at any time).
  • Errors made by you, including:
    • Not having the correct license.
    • Booking the wrong service.
    • Providing incorrect pick-up address or contact details.
    • Not meeting licensing requirements for your driving test.
    • Failing to book your test with the test centre.
  • External factors such as issues with the local licensing authority.
  • You cancelled late and were charged by your instructor.
  • You have an ongoing payment dispute.

How to Address Your Request:

To request a refund or file a complaint, please contact Safe Learners™. Providing detailed information will assist us in handling your request more quickly. If your refund is approved, it will be returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
